Weird Fiction Wednesday

Happy Weird Fiction Wednesday, friends of the strange, the sleazy, and the squamous.

Big update: the first draft of The Millfield Terror is done. I’ll let it stew for a bit before edits, but I’m excited about how this one turned out.

In the meantime, I’ll be diving into the final editing pass on Feeding Ground in the next few days. Before that, though, I’ve got a short story I need to exorcise — a character and a situation popped into my head while working on Millfield, and they won’t leave me alone until I write them down and find out what happens. That’s the fun of writing: the ideas don’t ask permission.

On that note — I’m looking for reviewers!

If you’d like to read an early copy of Feeding Ground and can post a review on or around release day (July 15th) to Amazon and/or Goodreads, get in touch. The book clocks in at just over 40,000 words — a fast, nasty little read about what happens when pollution goes too far and the crabs bite back.

I’m especially looking for folks who love pulpy, Grindhouse Horror — mutant monsters, bad decisions, gore, and a strong whiff of old paperback nasties. If your tastes lean more toward quiet, literary hauntings, this might not be your thing… but if you’re crab-curious, you’re welcome anyway.

  • Roadkill Girls is out now — grab it on Amazon or read free with Kindle Unlimited.
  • Feeding Ground drops July 15 — preorders are live now.
  • And if you’ve already read something, leave a review — it really helps.
